Theresa May at Remembrance Sunday Parade

12.11.17

Theresa May attended the annual Remembrance Sunday Parade at the Cenotaph in Whitehall today.

Elegant in a black coat and dress, the PM laid a wreath to commemorate the fallen. May also wore a hat by Liz Felix Millinery and the Twiggy kitten heels from Russell & Bromley.

Last night, Theresa May and husband Philip attended the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall. May wore a black lace dress from Amanda Wakeley, the Saucy heels from Russell & Bromley and the Redford chain detail bag, also from Amanda Wakeley.

Theresa May has addressed delegates on the final day of the Conservative Party Conference.

And the all important outfit- a Daniel Blake Tulip dress in wool flannel windowpane check, accessorised with the Twiggy Russell & Bromley kitten heels, oversized bracelet and her swirl Celtic Treasure ring.

Swatch Style with Theresa May

14.9.17

There was much excitement back in July when Theresa May was snapped wearing a Swatch to church in her home village of Sonning. Husband Philip even joined in the act, wearing a special Rio Olympic Games model!

Swatch is an iconic time-telling brand, and it was one of the first watches that I owned. The simple black strap version graces the wrists of many of the world's notable personas, almost making it a standard accessory for those with power and influence.

Theresa May's selection of a Swatch makes her a member of this club, and the Purple Power Swatch that she wore (and continues to wear) is a stylish choice. With a chronograph feature and 3 bar water resistance, it's a sturdy model- and the clashing purple and blue colour scheme is perfectly on trend. May's model is no longer available, but these models are equally as chic!

Swatch Twins: Theresa and Philip May

7.7.17

Two is often better than one, and Theresa May and her husband Philip have put that saying to the test by stepping out in complimentary Swatches!

Earlier this week, the Mail Online asked my thoughts on the two funky watches worn by the Prime Minister and her husband. Wearing them to a Sunday church service in their home village of Sonning, it was a perfect informal choice to keep track of time.

Here's what I said to the Mail Online:

"Swatch is a timeless watch brand that has cross generational appeal. Fun, quirky watches like those worn by Theresa May and her husband Philip are particularly fashionable and shows that both the PM and Mr May aren’t afraid to have a little fun with their style, particularly when they’re relaxing in their home village.

I think their synchronised style shows just how in tune both individuals are with other, and this isn’t the first time that they’ve matched up their clothes.

For the Prime Minister, wearing a cool Swatch shows that she isn’t afraid to think outside the box when it comes to accessories, and indicates just how much she loves to show her appreciation for classic pieces designed with a twist."

And for those of you eager to find out which Swatch models they were wearing then you're in luck!

Theresa May is wearing the aptly named Purple Power Swatch (2014) with a chronograph feature and 3 bar water resistance.

And Philip May is wearing the fun and bright Rio All Around (2016) model, an homage in time to the 2016 Olympic Games held in Rio.

Two great timepiece choices from the Mays!
