One of my favourite go to dresses is a black shift from Elsa and Me. Handmade and exquisitely crafted, I get lots of compliments when I wear it!

Now the brand has launched a Kickstarter to help fund their next project. To expand and improve their service for the fall season, ELSA AND ME is working to purchase its largest bulk order of fabric yet and is enlisting the help of its customers and fans through Kickstarter. Having an inventory of material will speed up their production process, shorten the time between ordering and delivery, and keep prices low.

With ten pledges to choose from starting from $15, there's an option to suit every price point. Plus you can donate to have a bespoke dress made in the style and fabric of your choice!

ELSA AND ME Fitting Event- London, 10th September 2014

Great news! One of my faves, ELSA AND ME, is heading to London for its very first event!

Maja Svensson, founder of ELSA AND ME will be at Nordic Bakyer, 14A Golden Square where guests can try on some of the brand's gorgeous dresses and get measured for a dress of their very own whilst being treated to drinks and treats.

ELSA AND ME is the home of crafted ladylike dresses for work and the cocktail party. Our elegant garments are fashioned after the personal style of founder Maja Svensson’s Grandma Elsa. Always a woman of class and hardly ever without an outfit-matching hat, Elsa’s innate fashion sense became Svensson’s inspiration in building her own business. Having been more of a homemaker than a career woman and also of a generation where different life perspectives presented different opportunities, Elsa inspired Svensson to birth the casual-to-formal “ELSA” dress. The design combines Elsa’s generation’s care for and simplicity of garments with today’s diversified career woman.
