I've always loved eye-catching tablewear, and when I heard that Tory Burch was reproducing the classic Dodie Thayer lettuce leaf design my heart skipped a beat!
Capturing the easy elegance of 1960s Palm Beach, Dodie Thayer's lettuce leaf design was a staple for many high society doyennes across the land. Jacqueline Kennedy, C.Z Guest and the Duchess of Windsor were fans. Brooke Astor' 200+ piece collection sold for $74,500 at a Sotheby's sale in 2012.
Prices range from £65- £175.
Another great set of items available in Tory's home collection is the Spongeware set. Inspired by the designer's favourite 19th century ceramics, the blue and white set is perfect for summer entertaining.
