Brussels and Christmas Lights: Theresa May's Week

From Brussels to the official lighting of the Downing Street Christmas tree, here's a recap of Theresa May's week.

On Monday, the PM was in Brussels for continuing Brexit talks. May wore a printed navy and white dress by Maria Grachvogel, teaming it with a two textured navy blazer and the Twiggy kitten heels from Russell & Bromley. She accessorised with the silver Balls necklace from Mirta Bijoux.

On Tuesday, Theresa May was back at Number 10 to welcome Spanish Prime Minister Rajoy to London. May wore the navy check Tulip dress from Daniel Blake, accessorising with her navy Mirta Bijoux Balls necklace and the crystaldust Swarovski bangles. The PM revisited one of her new shoe purchases - this time, the vibrant red and purple Link In block heels from Russell & Bromley.

Later in the day, the PM welcomed Liu Yandong, Vice Premier of The People’s Republic of China to Number 10.

On Wednesday, Theresa May took part in the weekly Prime Minister's Question slot in Parliament. It was back to the familiar navy Escada suit for her appearance at the despatch box, with our favourite leopard Kitty heels from Charlotte Olympia once again on show! May also accessorised with a green oversized jewel necklace and the Vere satchel from Anya Hindmarch.

And on Wednesday afternoon, the PM switched on the Downing Street Christmas lights with the help of her Christmas card winners from Maidenhead. A super sparkly and gorgeous tree this year!

And on Friday, Theresa May headed to Brussels in the early hours of the morning to formally announce that Phase 1 of the Brexit negotiations was complete. It was a no fuss outfit for the PM, with May turning to a simple navy skirt and light blue blazer with her leopard Kitty Charlotte Olympia heels for the announcement.

May headed straight back to her Maidenhead constituency to visit a Dementia Friends project- strong and resilient is our amazing PM! 

Number 10 and the Middle East: Theresa May's Week

Meetings at Number 10 and a trip to the Middle East- here is a recap of Theresa May's week!

On Monday, the Prime Minister welcomed the Prime Minister of Turkey to Number 10. For this meeting, May wore a brown textured check jacket, black trousers and the leopard Link In block heels from Russell & Bromley. Later in the day, May hosted a reception for Drug Fam at Downing Street.

On Tuesday, May met with leaders from British Overseas Territories to discuss funding for natural disasters, such as the recent tornados and tropical storms. May wore a black and white suit, accessorising with her new black and white oversized bead necklace.

On Wednesday, Theresa May visited Iraq on an unscheduled trip. She is the first major world leader to do so since the fall of Mosul. May wore a suitably practical dark suit, with the Cocktail loafers from Russell & Bromley - before changing to sturdy shoes! She also took her new Vere satchel from Anya Hindmarch.

Later in the day, May travelled to Saudi Arabia, visiting King Salman. May wore a navy and sky blue coat from Amanda Wakeley, accessorising with oversized pearls and the Cocktail loafers.

On Thursday, May travelled to Jordan, meeting with King Abdullah. May wore the navy Daniel Blake military cut jacket with trousers, opting for the Divine flats from Russell & Bromley, pearls and the Vere satchel. Later in the day, she also met with women benefitting from the Arab Empowerment Fund.

Lord Mayor, PMQs and Sweden: Theresa May's Week

It was back to business this week after Parliament's mini recess- here's what the Prime Minister has been up to.

On Monday, the Prime Minister hosted a business leader meeting at Number 10. She was pictured leaving Downing Street wearing olive trousers, a red long coat and the leopard Link In block heels from Russell & Bromley.

Later in the day, May attended the Lord Mayor's Banquet at the Guildhall, delivering a speech about Britain's economy and future post Brexit.

For this event, Theresa May wore a floor length dark green sleeveless dress with black floral embroidery and a sheer neck detailing. May accessorised with the silver Valarie clutch from Anya Hindmarch and the gold Twister block heels.

On Tuesday, Theresa May welcomed Nicola Sturgeon to Downing Street before attending the JDRF Sugarplum Ball at the Victoria & Albert Museum. May wore the blue Daniel Blake military jacket with tailored trousers, the Twiggy kitten heels from Russell & Bromley and pearls.

On Wednesday, May attended the weekly Prime Minister's Questions in the Commons. Her Escada colourblock blazer and skirt was her power outfit of choice- and it was a great selection for a fierce performance! May accessorised with the Issa x LK Bennett embroidered kitten heels and the oversized chain bracelet and necklace set from Amanda Wakeley.

Later in the day, May hosted a tech roundtable and event at Number 10.

On Thursday, the PM visited a housing project in Barnet, London and reaffirmed her commitment to housebuilding across the country. May wore the Daniel Blake Military tail coat in black with trousers, the Divine jewelled flats from Russell & Bromley and a new black and white bead necklace.

Theresa May then travelled to Sweden for the EU Social Summit.

On Friday, May attended the EU Social Summit and turned to an old favourite, the sparkly tweed DvF jacket for her meetings. She wore black flared trousers, the Delicious leopard flats from Russell & Bromley, the Amanda Wakeley chain bracelet and necklace set and the Vere satchel from Anya Hindmarch.

Commons, PMQs and Norfolk: Theresa May's Week

From Westminster to Norfolk. here's a recap of the Prime Minister's fashionable week!

On Monday, Theresa May updated MPs and the House about the recent European Council meetings. The PM wore her olive and black Piazza Sempione blazer, teaming it with the cropped flared olive trousers. She accessorised with a chunky oversized chain necklace and debuted the fabulous leopard Link In block heels from Russell & Bromley and the Vere satchel from Anya Hindmarch.

On Wednesday, the PM took part in Prime Minister's Questions and hosted an Asian Women of Achievement reception at Number 10. It was back to the staples- a navy Escada skirt suit and a garnet coloured jewel necklace. May wore the vibrant red and violet Link In block heels, again from Russell & Bromley.

On Thursday, May visited Norfolk, visiting a housebuilding project to discuss mental health in the workplace. It was back to the Vivienne Westwood Blackwatch suit, and the sparkly heeled loafers! May also wore her swirl Caroline Johnson necklace.

Number 10 and Estonia: Theresa May's Week

From welcoming world leaders to Downing Street and travelling to Estonia, here's a recap of Theresa May's week.

On Monday, Theresa May welcomed the Irish Taoiseach Leo Varadkar to Downing Street. The pair discuss the importance of devolved Government being restored to Northern Ireland as soon as possible and the UK Government’s steadfast commitment to the Belfast Agreement and its successors.

May wore a navy suit, teaming it with a white blouse and vintage multi colour Russell & Bromley kitten heels. The PM also debuted her new silver Balls necklace and bracelet from Mirta Bijoux- a recent purchase from her Italian holiday!

On Tuesday, May welcomed European Council President Donald Tusk to Downing Street to discuss imaginative and creative ways to establish the new UK/EU relationship.

Wearing an autumnal palette, May opted for a brown textured jacket, trousers and the Delicious leopard flats from Russell & Bromley. She accesorised with a brown plastic necklace from Et Le Bijou Crea La Femme.

On Wednesday, Theresa May had a much deserved trip to watch the cricket. Later in the day she pre-recorded some media interviews. May wore the sky blue coat, teaming it with a navy shift from Amanda Wakeley. She accessorised with her second Mirta Bijoux piece of the week- the Balls necklace in navy.

On Thursday, the PM delivered a speech at Fishmongers Hall, London to mark twenty years of independence for the Bank of England. May wore one of our favourite outfits- the bright blue Orchid jacket and matching skirt from Daniel Blake. She teamed it with pearls, snakeskin kitten heels, a Crystaldust Swarovski cuff and the swirl ring from Celtic Treasures.

Later in the day, May travelled to Estonia to participate in a summit on security and digital. For the evening working dinner, May wore the Tulip dress in wool flannel windowpane check from Daniel Blake. She accessorised with oversized pearls and her jewellery from earlier in the day. And we learned that the PM has reading glasses- and chic red ones no less!

On Friday, Theresa May met with British troops stationed at Tapa Military Base in Estonia. May wore a navy mackintosh over a black suit. She wore the Delicious leopard flats from Russell & Bromley and accessorised with the oversized chain necklace and bracelet from Amanda Wakeley. May also wore a scarf by Pazuki.

Kon'nichiwa! Theresa May visits Japan

Theresa May travelled to Japan this week for her first visit as Prime Minister. During the three day trip, May visited Kyoto and Tokyo, and signed a commitment between the UK and Japan for a post Brexit trade deal.

Arriving in Kyoto on Wednesday, May stepped off the Royal Air Force plane in a very literal outfit! Echoing the colours of the Japanese flag, May wore a red jersey dress and a white Peserico jacket. She accessorised with a pair of custom leopard Charlotte Olympia kitty heels, one of her signature quirky bracelets and a strand of pearls.

Theresa May then met her Japanese counterpart, Shinzo Abe, where they participated in a traditional Japanese tea ceremony.  They then travelled on the bullet train.

On Day two, Theresa May was in Yokosuka, visiting members of the British and Japanese military and inspecting the Maritime Self Defence Force. For this event, May wore a custom military style Daniel Blake jacket, black trousers and the Divine flats from Russell & Bromley. She accessorised with the oversized chain bracelet and necklace from Amanda Wakeley.

Following this, May attended the Japan-UK Business Forum.

Later in the day, May attended a dinner at the state guesthouse. May wore her second Daniel Blake outfit of the trip - a beautiful bright blue Orchid jacket with matching skirt. Theresa May repeated the Amanda Wakeley set and the Charlotte Olympia shoes!

On the final day of her trip, May met with Emperor Akihito. Theresa May did the triple and wore another custom military Daniel Blake jacket in navy with blue splashes. She teamed it with a navy skirt and the Twister block heels from Russell & Bromley. Following her meeting with the Emperor, May watched a wheelchair basketball championship match before heading home.
