Women MPs of the World and Armistice Day: Theresa May's Week

10.11.18

From welcoming female MPs from across the world to Westminster to marking 100 years since the end of World War 1, here's a recap of Theresa May's week.

On Monday, the PM was in Westminster. She held a reception for the MS Society at Number 10 in the evening. May wore her black and white colourblock blazer from Escada, and continued the black and white theme with her black Mirta Bijoux necklace and the black Twiggy kitten heels from Russell & Bromley.

On Tuesday, May marked one hundred years of Armistice Day at a service at St Margarets Church in Westminster. The PM wore a black skirt suit by Amanda Wakeley, accessorising with the Curve heels from Russell & Bromley and the rose gold oversized chain necklace and bracelet also from Amanda Wakeley.

On Wednesday, the PM welcomed female MPs from across the world to Downing Street. May wore the purple Piazza Sempione shirt dress for the occasion.

On Thursday, May attended the opening of Xtrac Limited in Newbury. The PM wore her white Piazza Sempione scuba jacket, teaming it with black trousers and the leopard Delicious flats from Russell & Bromley. The red Mirta Bijoux necklace added a pop of colour!

And on Friday, the PM was in Belgium and France as part of the Armistice Day commemorations. May laid a wreath at the graves of John Parr and George Ellison, the first and last UK soldiers to die during the War. Later in the day, May laid a wreath with President Macron at Thiepval Memorial in Thiepval, northern France.
