Theresa May in Africa

1.9.18

The Prime Minister was in Africa this week for a three day trip to the region. Visiting South Africa, Nigeria and Kenya, the PM met with leaders and promoted British trade.

On Tuesday, the PM landed in Cape Town accompanied by the Secretary of State for Wales and a number of British businesses. May wore her white striped Piazza Sempione jacket, teaming it with trousers and the Charlize loafers from Russell & Bromley.

Later in the day, May visited a local school - showing off some swell dance moves! She also held meetings with President Ramaphosa and visited Robben Island.

The PM wore her awesome bright orange jacket from Daniel Blake, black trousers and the leopard Delicious flats from Russell & Bromley. She accessorised with the oversized silver chain set from Amanda Wakeley.

The next leg of her trip saw her visit Nigeria. May met with President Buhari for a bilateral meeting and met the Salvation Army to discuss modern slavery.

In a nod to Nigerian fashion, May wore a striking yellow custom jacket by Emmy Kasbit.

The last stop of her journey was to Nairobi, Kenya. Here May met with President Kenyatta, holding a bilateral meeting and later meeting with Scouts who presented her with a friendship scarf.

May wore our favourite navy military cut Daniel Blake jacket with trousers and a pair of leopard loafers from Russell & Bromley. She accessorised with her oversized Amanda Wakeley silver chain bracelet.
