The Obamas and Bidens attended the National Prayer Service at Washington National Cathedral earlier today.

Mrs O wears a custom made ivory wool applique three quarter length sleeved coat and dress by Naeem Khan. A pair of nude kitten heels completed the understated, classic look.

Dr Biden wears a navy skirt and jacket suit accessorised with black boots and what appears to be an urn shaped pin.
