Looking for a gift for a music lover? Here are my top CD picks of 2009.
There had to be a festive disc on the list, and my favourite this season is My Christmas by Andrea Bocelli. Filled with old favourites and new classics along with duets with Reba McEntire, The Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Katherine Jenkins, this CD has made this Christmas a little easier to handle. 
The newest album from Vanessa Williams is filled with easy listening and jazz tracks. There isn't one song I hate which really is a first for me! 
I have been the biggest Michael Buble fan for over 4 years and was 'crazy' to receive his latest offering. Whilst every track is as polished as the performer, the standouts are Georgia on my Mind, Hold On and the hit single, Haven't Met You Yet. 
This album of Bette Midler's greatest hits was originally released last year, but has been repackaged with a DVD of her tour from Las Vegas just in time for Christmas! Complete with some bonus tracks, this album is one of my top picks for this Christmas. 
And last, but not least, perhaps my complete favourite on the list. Whitney Houston's first new album in 5 years, I Look To You is simply an essential for any collection. Whether you are rocking to Million Dollar Bill, or singing along to the title ballad, this new material is a formidable rival to classic Whitney!And of course, if you are unsure of what to purchase, you can always buy an iTunes gift card and let the recipient decide for themselves!
