I can't quite believe that I haven't discovered this until now. That is Sunset Boulevard and Glenn Close's amazing singing. Powerful, emotive and realistic, Close is simply stunning as Desmond in the musical version of the classic Hollywood movie.My CD version is on its way!

I just discovered your blog via Google, and I have already read all of your entries thus far. I absolutely adore your blog, darling. It's divine. It's marvelous to find another Lee Radziwill fan! We are few and far between.
Anyway. In response to the musical of Sunset Boulevard. It's fantastic! But I would highly recommend checking out the original London recording with Patti LuPone as Norma. As much as I adore Glenn, her singing pales in comparison to Patti. Both recordings are wonderful though.
