The Best Actor award wasn't a surprise- Daniel Day Lewis of course. Best Actress went to Marion Cotillard. It was predicted that Julie Christie would win, but she was again snubbed, much like at the Bafta's.
Tilda Swinton won Best Supporting Actress, and her speech was utterly funny, mentioning about George Clooney's nipples!!
And onto the fashion...
Helen Mirren, was gorgeous as ever. It is reported that she wore over a million pounds worth of diamonds! Whilst presenting the award to Day-Lewis, she did a little spoof acting as The Queen- Day-Lewis kneeled whilst Helen dubbed him with the Oscar. Classic!!

Cate Blanchett, heavily pregnant also looked stunning. Unfortunately she didn't win either of her nominations.
The other stunningly dressed person was Marion Cotillard. She wore a mermaid type gown from Gaultier.

Us press said Marion was a tuna ! ahahah i don't relly like her dress but it suits her very well. I wish Helen Paige could have won the best actress oscar
